We know that computers can be a headache - most of us just want to get on and use them for the jobs we want to do, whether it be word processing, accessing the internet, sending emails, or playing games. Most of the time, of course, this is fine, but when it all goes wrong we are left with the feeling that we need to be computer whizz kids to sort it out. Of course often that is exactly who we find to try to get us out of our troubles and then feel blinded by jargon as they tell us that it is obviously a conflict between your Socket A and your DDR RAM and wouldn’t it be better if you upgraded to an Athlon 64 running XP Pro at about a zillion pounds.
